Instinct Raw Meals Freeze-Dried Chicken Cat Food, 9.5 oz. Bag

I will tell you that I bought this for my older cat with a puny digestive system. She would not eat regular kibble regardless of the expense. Because I was feeding my two dogs raw freeze dried food and I was happy with that, I decided to try this as kind of a last resort. Wow! My little skinny kitty actually eats this. She seems to have more energy and is more perky. Her stools are well formed. The texture of the food is soft, so it is good for older cats and I can tell that her health has improved just by her parking us and disposition. l thank you Instinct and so does my Crumpy

Glad I discovered this. Nice texture, not too hard nor too crumbly and not overly dry. They are easy to flake with your fingers to crumble on the top of their canned portion. They are much less likely to turn their noses up and walk away with it on top. Two of my seven are not crazy about eating them as a snack but the others are absolutely frantic for them. If I have chicken/beef broth I'll put some in a bowl with them and they love that too. There is little to no smell and this time I bought the larger 25oz bag as it is better price per oz and I plan on always using these. They would also be very easy to travel with although we don't. :^)

Excellent ingredients and picky Kitty liked it right out of the bag (I crumbled it on top of her wet food for first serving to get her used to it) :)

My cat loved this but I won't buy again. It's just too pricey. I'm buying Rawz instead.

ZERO STARS! I’ve purchased Instinct Freeze Dried Raw Cat Food before and it’s always been soft enough to break apart easily. This bag? Apparently freeze-dried on the surface of the sun. The pieces are so rock hard I had to use force to snap them in half. I’m feeding a cat, not chiseling granite. My cat took one sniff, attempted a bite, and looked at me like I had personally betrayed him. There have been zero issues in the past, which makes this even more frustrating. Something is clearly off with this batch. To add insult to injury, Amazon wouldn’t refund or replace it — so now I’m the proud owner of an expensive bag of feline gravel. Quality control matters. Cats have standards. So do I.

It is good for both cats a dogs. Won't use as a solo ingredient but it is a good protein source .

My cats don't like it. I've been tricking them into eating it by putting delectables gravy on it because, by gosh by golly, it was expensive so they're going to eat it. But I won't be buying it again.

My cat had to have all her teeth removed and I had trouble finding stuff she liked and could eat. She LOVES this! She wakes up from a nap and comes running when I open the bag. Thank you!

The freeze-dried bag was scratched, and unfortunately, I can’t feed my pet from an opened food pack. really disappointed…
