Returned the steamer. The water gets very hot and so does the steam. It is a serious burn risk!! Even at the distance listed in the instructions it is way too hot and poses a burn risk. There is no temperature control and the supposedly steam control is not adequate enough to control the steam either. The water compartment is very tiny and gives maybe 5 minutes worth of steam.
