Garden Silicone Thumb Knife, Finger Knife-Plants Picking Trim Tools(L)

I bought this to pick flowers and greens for my lei making but I find it great for picking herbs and pruning other greens. Keep in my garden basket. Works terrific.

Thumb knife, protective cap. cut resistant finger glove included for each of the two thumb knives. The protective carrying case is well built and was probably used for carrying wired audio ear buds in some other product use. I found that I had to shape the protective caps to fit the contour of the blade. This done with scissors, and not a problem. In use, you can pinch between thumb and index, or thumb and middle finger. If you can't choose, then wear both finger gloves and nip to your heart's content. Recommended.

I purchased 2 sets, different sizes. One for me & one for my husband. We ended up sharing one of each with my parents as you really only need one at a time anyway. The safety cover for the blade doesn’t fit properly and will easily fall off. Just be mindful when using as the blade is very sharp. Otherwise, it works as expected and I really like it. My parents expressed that they liked them too! 🥰 Recommend for responsible users.

The blades are sharp, comes in a case and has thumb socks for comfort, but the hard plastic makes it impossible to use to pinch the stem unless you wear one on your thumb and cover your finger with something sort of cut resistant. If these were made of silicone it would be awesome, but I cannot use them effectively

This is a great garden to when you’re picking beans. However, the some pieces were a little bit too big and kept falling off my fingers so the fit isn’t that great but the functionality is it didn’t make pick and beans easier. They just need to make the rubber finger holders smaller about two sizes large and small and both are too big

My favorite yard and plant tool this season! I’ve always deadheaded my roses heavily but hate that when I use shears I am sometimes blindly snipping or sniping too low. This little thumb knife makes this chore effortless. I ordered the large size so I could wear it over my gloves and it’s perfect! I learned if I’m not wearing my gloves, I could use the second finger sock over my thumb and then the knife. It was the perfect snug fit! I haven’t tested to see just how thick it can cut but it does cut twig size branches and leaves pretty easily. Less fumbling with scissors means my hands can continue to work without putting down or picking up equipment. This little knife is just “there” and I can’t see not having it in my garden tote from now on 👏🏻👏🏻

I was so excited to get these. I had grand dreams of easily deadheading my petunias with ease and efficiency. Unfortunately I found that the blade didn't not cut through the petunia stems very well. In the end, while using the thumb blade, it ended up just pulling the stem off not cutting through it... defeats the purpose of the thumb blade. So I'm returning it and I'm back to old fashion deadheading. So sad

This is a great little tool to help with dead heading flowers. It is easy to get into the middle of flowers where a big tool would be hard to in the plants. You can also trim away other stems as well. Definitely would recommend this to any gardeners tools.
