Four-year-old Daniel Tiger invites young viewers directly into his world, giving them a kid's eye view of his life and making them feel like one of his neighbors. Episodes include: Duckling Goes Home; Daniel Feels Left Out; Daniel Gets Frustrated; Frustration at School; Daniel is Jealous; Jealousy at the Treehouse; Someone Else's Feelings; and Empathy at School. Review: Great show, important to discuss the word definitions further with our kids! - My kids love this show so much. And I really like the different lessons and take-away messages from the different shows. This set will make your kids use the words "Frustrated" and "Jealous" and "Sad" to describe how they are feeling, so it's best to follow up with actual discussion over not using the words just to get attention when they really are in need of some stimulation. That's the only issue we've had! My own fault. Review: Fantastic. My 3 1/2 yr old son actually sings ... - Fantastic. My 3 1/2 yr old son actually sings the little songs he learned from this DVD about dealing with feelings. One day I told him I was frustrated because I couldn't find my keys, and he sang Daniel Tiger's song: "When you're feeling frustrated, take a step back, and ask for help." Then he helped me look for them. Great teaching tool about dealing with sadness, frustration, jealousy, etc.

Love this video.
I own this video. It helped deter my lil one from throwing tantrums at a much younger age. It helps the child learn to express their emotions in a healthy way. I have recommended this video to young mothers. I bought this video for a friend. I was so glad that I found it on Amazon.

Daniel is a favorite!
Our 2.5 year old loved watching this DVD on a recent flight. She adores Daniel and will watch and re-watch episodes. From a parent's perspective, you can't go wrong with choosing sweet Daniel. Daniel sets a good example and the show teaches appropriate lessons. I personally love that the stories are not loud or overly silly.

Daniel Tiger Great for Emotional Instruction
This DVD has some great episodes to help with emotional instruction/regulation but does not contain some of the ones I think are most helpful for strong emotions (like getting mad).

Great stories and very catchy songs that teach your kiddo
I first discovered Daniel Tiger's neighborhood on TV and my 2.5 year old immediately took a liking to the show. I decided to buy the DVD for my car and now she watches it every day on her way to school. I love that the show teaches them real life lessons in the form of a catchy, short, and easily memorized song. My daughter and I both find ourselves singing the songs even when we aren't watching the show. Highly recommend.

For on the Go
I love Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, I purchased this particular one as it helps children understand the concept of empathy. I know I can watch Daniel FREE on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and PBS but I bought this film for on the go use when the TV or iPad/iPhones are not available, or simply no WIFI. Also for when my son stays at the hospital, because of his medical condition. I love this DVD it is worth to purchase, it is super inexpensive and a great gift. I am not sure what to say more about it besides, buy it!
