This stuff really works! I had deep coffee stains in my Yeti mug and tried baking soda and vinegar to get them out. It didn’t work. This powder removed the stains quickly and the mug looks new. Highly recommend.

This is a good quality espresso machine cleaner. 556 grams is about 20 ounces. This is a very important step in ending yoru day as a barista. This product goes into the head, but it works in the valves as well. Use this in place of coffee and run your machine. It's super concentrated and the hot water cleans out your machine very well. Your daily end of day back flush needs this.

Urnex powder is a very powerful surfactant that dissolves coffee oils (n.b., it does not descale). Drop your portafilter and filter in a pot of hot water and this cleaner, leave it for an hour (slow), and come back to something half as dark as coffee. It does not smell bad, but it does not smell good, either. Be sure to rinse well!

Seems to clean very well—really gets the portafilter shiny and silvery again! The only criticism is the instructions are a bit vague( in images ) so if you’re unsure, just AI or Google the instructions. It’s a very strong acid though so I wouldn’t leave your hands in the cleaning solution for very long. I tend to hand wash most things and yeah I get dry hands as a result but with this cleaner on my hands, even diluted with water, my hands get noticeably dry! So use gloves. This bottle will last you a long time as you only use a few grams per cleaning cycle.

Pretty remarkable product. Cleaned my six-year-old coffee carafe so it looked like I just bought it. Had a bit of a scare when I Googled the active ingredient, sodium hydroxide, and learned it was the chemical name for lye. They need to be clearer about that in the packaging, especially since this is used on products people drink out of. I rinsed my coffeemaker thoroughly and ran it twice with water only to clear it out. If I die of lye poisoning, my wife will make a little money from the lawsuit. In the meantime, my morning coffee tastes much better..
