Impressed with the product.
I bought this tent because I wanted something sturdy and windproof to handle the cold weather when winter overlanding through Death Valley and Mojave. The stitching and material are higher quality than I expected. The tent spikes are 7 in long and 3 rib metal which is better quality than you get with most tents. Everything was stitched very well and seem tape sealed without flaws. There are plenty of tie down locations and decent ventilation flaps on top for when you want it. The rain cover has velcro tabs on the inside to attach it to the poles for extra stability. I haven't had a chance to test it camping overnight but I am confident this tent will hold up well in the rain, wind and cold. The cover is thick enough to keep the warmth in and it goes all the way to the ground where you can spike it down to keep out crosswind. To lay four people in it they would have to snuggle closely but definitely a 1 - 3 max person tent. One person plus room for plenty of gear or two plus gear would be ok, three people you probably have to keep most the gear outside. It's not too heavy and it rolls up to about a 15 x 7 inch sack. One could definitely carry it back packing if you knew you were going into cold weather and we're just doing a hunting or fishing Basecamp. But it is definitely not an ultra-light tent for long distance or summer camping tent. The tent would be literally perfect if the spikes were 9 inches. In the sand or rocky terrain 7 inch spikes are too short. You need at least 9 to12 inch spikes to hold ground and still have enough on the surface keep the footings held down. Also If the velcro on the top vents went all the way across the vent opening allowing you to completely seal it down, this would be great. In a strong cold wind I like to seal up the side of the vent that faces the wind keep cold air from being pushed in. Follow up: 11/29/23: I've used this tent several times now in Nevada, Death Valley, and the Sierra's during the colder months. Temps down in the 20s with stiff winds. The tent has done very well. I've used several tents and have many. This tent is my go to tent now in the winter. Update: 10/9/25 still using this Tent without any issues. Zippers still work better than most. No holes or tears. Just spent several days hunting in the mountains north of Tonapah and woke up every morning with the tent covered in frost. Added a picture.

Good tent
Easy to build and take down. We used it on a hot July and the ventilation was pretty good. easy to fit in a car or carry. Actually water proof we did buy a tarp separately to put underneath it just incase

Good Tent, pros and cons - a review for a family of 4
First, this tent is overall great - really weatherproof and secure, well made. The tie-downs are secure and all over the place...you can really secure this thing down and it's sealed up good when set up. I got this because I use to camp a lot and waterproofing is important to me (this was hunting-type terrain). Now we live in Hawaii so it's hot. This tent has a heavy-duty rain cover so it is not as ventilated as I'd like while covered (you're like really hidden in there)...and it's smaller than expected (we are a family of 4, two average-sized adults and two small children). It fits our family snug but there isn't much room to move around inside. You're basically in your tent to sleep or shelter from the rain but not much else. It doesn't give you much room to stand or be comfortable while trying to change kids clothes, etc. My wife doesn't like it too much but I'm sure we'll hit a night of heavy rain and she'll love it; she doesn't like how much smaller it is than our other standard Coleman tent. So, if you're needing a heavy-duty weatherproof tent, this is it...if you need/want space for the family, it's probably not the one for you. IF they made it just slightly wider and taller, it would be perfect. If it were just me, 5-stars all the way. Side note, the poles are awesome, super good quality and the bag is nice, fits in great...not a struggle at all (which is the worst when packing up). I wish they gave you two poles for the door flap but they don't.

Easy set up and excellent protection from rain
I bought this tent used and it did not have stakes or tensioners so I bought some heavy duty stakes and tensioners. One of the grommets was missing, too, but that didn't bother me. I am 67 and it was easy to set up and take down by myself. I needed a tent that would withstand rain and wind as I was going on a 5 day river trip down the Main Salmon in late August. The first 2 days of the trip it rained nonstop and the tent kept my gear dry. I loved the rain fly. I used 9 guy lines to keep it away from the tent and in case of wind (which never happened). I was able to sleep comfortably with my gear in the tent. It is not really a 3 person tent unless it's 3 children? It was perfect for me and my gear or two people and limited gear. BUT, you can put gear outside each door (vestibule) and still be under the rain fly. By the end of the trip I didn't use the rain fly and loved how open the tent was. You could almost see the stars through the mesh. Ventilation was good. It was a great value and functioned perfectly.

Great durable tent
I've used this a few times now and I like it alot. Good quality. I definitely would not put 3 grown adults in there. 2 adults are comfortable no way a third would fit

Quality isn't very good and had sewing mistake
Reading some reviews I was wondering what would actually show up in the tent package. So far it looks like it's all there.. All the string pieces packed in the with stakes is ridiculous. It's flimsy, not very high quality, strong odd smell. Needs a ground sheet. You get what you pay for. BUT I did expect to be able to fully set it up. One of the pole hooks was not sewn in so it will go back to Amazon. The straps for attaching the rainfly to the poles is set up backwards so they won't stay tight (I think i can switch them next tent). It's not going to be my go to tent, but might work on work trips if it might rain, but will take a back up tarp just to be safe. I do like the height and size, seems about a comfy 2 person with room to wiggle. It will be for me solo with my gear for trail work. Waiting for replacement to test outside and see if the awning is worth anything. I don't' have high hopes.
