I needed a phone holder for reading. I had read several reviews for similar products with bendable arms with the chief complaint being that they didn't last long or broke almost instantly. I thought this look much sturdier at roughly the same price. It works great and the clamp itself is very versatile meaning you can orient it in a number of ways. The clamp is plastic so I wouldn't tighten it too much. Probably need a good three inches on a table or bed to get a good enough hold so it won't slip off. I tried it on a beveled two inch lip of a nightstand and it kept slipping. Overall great product and my wife wants one now.

For my needs it’s a pretty good phone holder. Arm has good range of motion and the phone clip supports my iPhone 14 Pro. It does appear to be bent at this point which I have no idea how because I’m not rough w/ it. BUT still holding up quite well.

Purchased this in April to start my business. And I love how flexible it is for various position. Only thing I don't like is that when you put the phone in the holder, it doesn't rotate 360 but I have found a way around it by moving the whole object to the next side of the table to get the other 180 view. Have this 5 months now and I love it. Does what I want it to do and be hands free at the same time. The metal is quite sturdy, not of a filmsy material.

Pros: Very adjustable with a few limitations. Mostly good construction in the arm and springs. Adjustable device grip Cons: Mount to table or other surface, is not very strong and moves too much at the extreme range of extension. Mounting hole that the arm plugs into, located on table mount seems flimsy. The set screw to hold it into position screws against a plastic insert in the hole which is supposed to allow it to hold in postion and allow movement - seems like it will fail. Spring inside the grip which holds the tablet or phone in place is very strong - which worries me a little. The tablet holder does grip the device quite strongly, so there is no fear of it falling out, but it seems maybe even too strong. I think it would be better to have a weak spring with a knob and screw to lock it into place without putting too much pressure on the device. I ended up giving it to my son and he uses it (with a small ipad) on a table edge which seems to be the most stable use of the mount, with about a 3/4" surface to clamp to. Larger surface clamping seems to make it more unstable. I don't think this would be good with much bigger than a 7 or 8 inch tablet. More weight would be worse stability. One thing that I did not like on the adjustability was the limitation at the end connection to the tablet holder which does not have a double ball joint and you can't position the tablet parallel to the arm which would be great for bedside use - night stand to extend over the bed.

I've used the goose neck style phone holders for a few years now. I like this new holder quite a lot. Pros- extremely sturdy Good clamp range, holds my s20 ultra Table clamp won't let go and won't break Cons- slightly limited range if mobility compared to gooseneck clamps Won't hold larger devices like tablets Be careful where you attach it to a table. There's a very small amount of damage to my desk which is to be expected. Overall, judging by the hardware and material, i expect this clamp to last much much longer than the plastic style clamp on the gooseneck. I'm very happy with this guy. I can lay in bed and watch videos on my phone or set it up at my desk and my phone is right there for anything i need it for.

The discriptive text likes to use the word "stainless steel" repeatedly. If there's any stainless steel on this product, it appears to only be the ball gimble on the very end of the arm (even that looks like chrome plated steel to me, not stainless). It will not hold the weight of a phone ... it droops in multiple directions. The tightening knobs aparantly intended to abate the drooping are completely useless where provided. Some axis/joints lack that knob completely ... not just missing ... there's no provision in the design. The articulation is limited and fails to provide sufficient adaptability in some basic configurations. The good news is, it's priced quite low, bolstering the notion that "you get what you pay for." Save your money ... this is unusable unless you need some hardware laying around to collect dust. ✌️😎
