Parboiled Basmati Rice - Golden Sella, 10 Pound Bag

Perfectly long grains of rice - the nutrition (especially fibre) in this rice is much better than in most white rice so its great for my brown rice hating husband. This is an economical way to buy proper basmati - the stuff grown in the US just isn't the same I'm afraid.

I have prepaired this rice in a variety of ways and I am always satisfied. The scent and texture very reliable.

I used this in a recipe for Kabuli Pulao (Afghan Rice) and the meal came out exactly as I remember it from serving in Afghanistan. Great rice. I like it better than the regular Basmati rice you pick up at Costco or the Indian grocery store.

Best rice on the market. The rice never turns out sticky always perfectly grain by grain

I never give bad review unless the product is very bad.. I did not like this product at all ... too much yellow ... I always use parboiled rice but this doesn’t seems like parboiled, this seems like plastic.

Too yellow. I have cooked sella basmati many times before. I expected to have an amber color but it is so yellow that it looks like American parboiled rice. No aroma of basmati. It doesnt absorb water like it should. Wont buy this same brand again.

This seller intentionally said 10 lbs bag which I understood was sort of cheating. Instead of saying 5kg bag as mentioned in the bag. It was deliberately to confused Australian customers. I thought 10kg bag! The 5kg bag cost me $39. But any any online seller’s price $18 plus shipping $10 in total $28.

Long grain . It takes good amount of water . Smells very good . It is Sella rice at its best.

Furchtbarer Geruch, auch durch Waschen nicht zu reduzieren. Absolut NICHT zu empfehlen.
