Awesome!
Excellent food! My dog loved I’d it from day one! She loves the taste and texture of the food! She scarfs it up like a delicacy! She loves the taste and texture of the food.

dog food
I have bought other types of dog food and my dogs will not eat. I have had my dogs on this for years. the reason I tried other foods is because the price keeps going up. this is an expensive dog food now. so I bought from Amazon for the price.

Great recommendation by dog trainer
My dog trainer recommended this brand as a ‘medium level’ treat. The ‘low level’ treat recommendations were milkbones and a ‘high level’ treat being something like cheese or a hot dog. These were great to bring on walks or just to use in the house for training when milkbones didn’t do the trick or to mix it up. My dogs absolutely love them. They have a real stinky smell which is probably why they like them so much. They are a good small size, I even break them in half when I need to do a lot of training. One downside is they are very soft and chewy so if you put them in your pocket, it can get very messy. I would recommend a designated fanny pack for dog treats or using a plastic bag for walks. Again, they are excellent for training if your dogs are food-motivated. I also sometimes mix it with peanut butter and add to their Kong.

The only food my dog will eat
My dog is extremely picky and has a sensitive stomach. This is a very high quality food and worth the price. My dog is 11 years old and ZiwiPeak has kept her young and active. Her vet says that ZiwiPeak’s quality has contributed to my dog’s health.

Good product but….
The high cost is not as much the issue here is the packaging and subsequent handling during the shipping processes. The contents are tiny air dried jerky like squares. They are fragile and easily can crumble. Out of every bag I buy, there is enough unusable product to make this dog food mighty costly even to feed a very tiny dog such as mine is. But it is a very healthy choice for her, so I will continue to buy it. Just wish there was not any waste per expensive bag of it.

My dog was unwell on this food… 25 pound cocker poodle mix
I rarely right reviews and tend to give the benefit of the doubt when something negative arises; however, this dog food made our dog unwell. We adopted our mix breed dog at age 5.5 years old. We loved him immediately and we became a family of 3! I will spare you all the details but after having him for a year, we referred to him as our “lemon” puppy because he had so many issues. His skin was flaky with dander, his back and hips hurt, and he had bad GI issues all the time. We chalked it up to his genetics at first, thinking perhaps this is why someone surrendered him. All in all, we thought we were giving him good food despite this being SO expensive. We tried everything to get him healthy and overall he did. However, he still had skin and GI issues. The most alarming were these lipomas or large cysts on his abdomen and chest. As a last ditch effort, not believing this food had anything to do with his problems, we slowly weened him off and switched him to a completely different brand. FINALLY!!!! He is 12 years old now and can confidently say that this food caused or at the very minimum exacerbated all his problems. Today, I just noticed that the lumps are gone!!!! There’s simply no excuse. Something must not be right. We did not move, change his treats, sleeping patterns of anything else. This food was the common denominator. The vet did say he wasn’t concerned about the lumps, but I was shocked that at 12, he’s healthier now than ever before. We spent thousands on this food and it is upsetting. No dog food is going to be 100% for all builds and greeds. We have a lot of guilt that we didn’t figure it out sooner. Writing this hoping it may help another “family” out if they’re seeing similar issues.

My dog loves it
If I had a large dog, I couldn't afford this. But my dog weighs about 12 lbs and doesn't eat a lot. She loves Ziwipeak. I tried switching her to a cheaper brand that is kibble with air dried raw chunks mixed in. It made her sick. She loves this and it doesn't bother her stomach. It smells awful, but she doesn't mind.
