I purchased the CUSIMAX 1800W Double Hot Plate (C180N) back in March, and overall, it’s been a solid addition to my kitchen setup. The stainless steel finish gives it a sleek look, and it’s incredibly easy to clean. The cast iron burners heat up fairly quickly and handle everything from boiling water to pan-frying without much issue. What I love most is how portable and compact it is—perfect for small apartments, backup use when the main stove is busy, or even outdoor setups with power access. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip on the counter, and feels well-built. A few minor cons: It takes a little time to cool down, so I have to be careful after use. The temperature control isn't super precise, so there's a bit of trial and error when cooking certain dishes. It works best with flat-bottom cookware—some of my older pans didn’t sit evenly. All in all, it’s been a great buy for the price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a reliable countertop burner for everyday use or as a backup stove.

I travel a lot for work and got tired of using the burners at my last hotel, which barely got hot enough to simmer pasta water and couldn't sear a steak. Since space in my car is limited and the next hotel might have good burners, I debated long and hard which type of burners would be preferable, whether I wanted one burner or two, and what type of surrounding unit would be best. I wanted burners that were big enough to heat full-size pots and sturdy enough to take a lot of travel. I chose the two-burner version with cast iron burners and a flat surface with the knobs on top and would choose it again in a heartbeat. I brought it with me to my family’s Christmas gathering, and it would have paid for itself even if I'd just gotten it for that. Cooking Christmas dinner for almost twenty people meant that we needed all the burners we could get! Those two extra burners - and the fact that they could be in a different part of the kitchen from the others - made the whole process a lot easier. By the time we were done, my mom and one sibling had asked for the link to buy this hotplate.

Has been working pretty good, beware that when you’re using both burners the entire thing gets really hot. Like almost too hot to turn the knobs

This is a well made dual burner cook top and works just as good as any regular sized four burner cook top. I bought this as a temporary appliance while we are having new counter tops fabricated for our remodeled kitchen, but I can see us using it indoors or on the deck often for frying foods once in a while. Also we can save a little on our gas bill when making small meals; electric is less expensive then gas.

I love it! I like to have two instead of just one plate for cooking, they look super cool in my little kitchen and I love cooking here. As normal electrical stove the heat take some time to go to the plate but is perfect for cooking, while I prepare (cutting, mixing, cleaning) I preheat my stove normally on a #7 lvl so it heats faster and once is hot enough I put my food in the pan and if it’s to hot I go down to a lvl 5, I try to avoid going to the maximun cause is really not necessary (it gets pretty hot!) If you enjoy cooking and have patience is a perfect stove. I would just say that the little plate (the one closer to the heat lvl control) when it gets too hot it make the controls hot too but is because is close to a hot surface is pretty understandable and normal, I insist is not necesary use the max lvl, just pre-heat your stove before start using it, and you will be really happy with it :) I love that the oil doesn’t jump when I put my food inside my pan (like with a propone stove) and the heat concentrate in the bottom of my pan (better!) I’m just loving cooking here every day. Is super easy to clean and cooking is wonderful.

This is a piece of GARBAGE! DO NOT BUY IT! it doesnt work! The propane company in my area became greedy like many companies have in the plight of our enconomy. They raised the price for rent on their old propane tanks.. from $58 a year to $143. or, Not pay rent if I ordered just $400 of propane. SO instead I let them take the tank back and I ordered this cusimax. This thing didnt work at all. I sent it back via UPS. And selected to get a refund. Suddenly they say I wanted a replacement and are sending me another piece of garbage. SAVE your money! Dont buy this! I went to walmart, got a small hot plate for only $24.95, less than half the price of this expensive piece of garbage! So I had a big hassle trying to cancel this order that I didnt do. I didnt order a replacement. I wanted a refund. I had all day on the phone with people in the Philippines. They tried to help but could not, and directed me to an agent here in the USA. She also could not help me. I have NEVER had this much trouble on Amazon. I found a new name here.. SCAMAZON.. becareful who you buy from on here! I never have had this lack of professionalism here. I am shocked that it took me all day to finally figure that I had to contact UPS , tell them to stop the shipment. I have to now contact my credit card company because I dont want this piece of crap. I am so mad! Why so much hassle for a return? I did select a refund.. they obviously dont want to give money back.. NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD!
