Cool gift from my wife. Seems of quality build. Strictly speaking, I really don’t use it much. It works and is handy but it’s a gadget. Not the manufacturer’s fault. Once the novelty wore off I haven’t touched it.

Gift for wife to replace her 10 year old braun hand blender that she loves but felt it was not as powerful as she wishes. She loves this new one, and appreciate that this has a rotating dial to fine tune the blending speed!

Our old Braun hand blender died. This one is definite upgrade. Powerful, easy to use. Just what you need if the job is not big enough to use the counter top blender

After reading many of the reviews and much internal debate as to whether I really needed a new immersion blender, I went ahead and treated myself. And am so glad I did! This model replaced a 20+ year old Braun immersion blender and it is such an updgrade. Not only are there no more splatters all over my cooking/worksurface, this little beauty actually blends up vegetables completely, so I no longer have chunky soup when I want smooth soup. I was a bit skeptical of the multiple speed levels (21?) but am completely in love with them now as I have total control over the texture of whatever I'm blending. I had gotten to the point where I stopped making soups that required immersion blending because my older Braun made such a mess for not very good results. This new model has changed my mood in the kitchen and is definitely worth the price.

I give this 5 stars because I can't give it 10. The thoughtfulness of the design is excellent as is the obvious quality of mfg. When you pick it up, it has heft, indicating a heavy-duty motor which will last, unlike some el-cheapo chinese import. I especially love the rheostat/variable speed control (like a Dremel tool, guys), which gives you exactly the speed you want. I also like the guarded mixing blade on the wand. When using one of these, one will invariably lift it a bit too high, thereby decorating the wall, the floor and the user. Not so with this one. All the really useful attachments it comes with just make it better. Most importantly; this was a birthday gift for my wife and she LOVES it, which is the most important thing. "Happy wife, happy life!!"
