Update: replacement comforter is much better… really impressed with this small business
Update: The comforter on my bed is now everything I hoped for: fluffy, warm, and wonderfully cozy. Getting here was a two-part story, and it’s the happy ending and the fantastic service that created it that I really want to share. I’ll be honest, my first comforter was a letdown. It arrived flat and thin and just never really… fluffed into the cozy cloud I was hoping for. I was pretty frustrated, which is why I left my original review. But then, something really nice happened. The company actually reached out to me directly. They were so kind, listened without getting defensive, and genuinely wanted to make it right. They sent a replacement, no questions asked, and the difference has been night and day. This new one is exactly what I’d imagined. It has a real, fluffy loft, it’s softer, and after letting it settle, it’s become the full, warm, and comfortable comforter I wanted from the start. My quick takeaways: · A small business that stands behind their work. This meant a lot. · Customer service was top-notch kind, FAST, and professional. · The replacement is clearly better quality: fuller, softer, and warmer. · It’s a completely different (and better) experience than the first. I really value when a company just focuses on fixing things. The way they handled this completely changed my perspective. While the first one missed the mark, their response and the quality of the replacement have made me a happy customer. I’m glad I gave them the chance to make it right, and I’m finally cozy under the comforter I was hoping for.

Love this comforter.
Super comfortable and light and well worth the price. Excellent quality that I didn't think I'd find again. And without the dreaded returns of trying something and it not right. It feels like the same one I bought in 2007 at BB&B on Christmas Day for half off and that was $250. So normally a $500 comforter and as a matter of fact I still have it although the feathers are kind of falling out. I'll probably just need to take it to a seamstress and have her resell a few things but I'm still keeping that as I am going to keep this. Incredible feel and very warm for an L2. The design is great. I haven't washed it yet but on order to fluff it I basically put it in the dryer for an hour on delicates with no heat. It did come sealed in a small box but it was absolutely perfect after an hour on fluff with no heat. I will end up buying another one when I get a king size bed. All I need now is a duvet that feels just like this comforter. There was no scent as some people mentioned. It smelled fresh right out of the box.

I'll never go back to a polyester filled comforter again!
***Only had comforter for a few days, so will update if necessary at a later date.*** Picture 1: comforter inside the duvet cover I ordered at the same time. As you can see, even inside the duvet cover, this comforter is quite fluffy. It has not been washed and dried yet either. The slight new smell disappeared after allowing it to air for a couple of hours, per manufacturers instructions. Picture 2: the satisfaction guarantee and unpacking instructions included in the packaging. This is an amazing comforter! The quality is great, it fluffs up beautifully, it's just the right weight, it's soft right out of the bag, and oh so comfortable. It was package well, inside a vacuum sealed bag and into a breathable fabric bag, and shipped in a solid and sealed Amazon cardboard box. At this point, I'll never go back to a polyester fill comforter again!! Now to address complaints for this comforter. First off, if you're not familiar with, or owned and slept with a down comforter, do some research before selecting one. Doing so will ensure you know the terminology, production, quality standards, myths and gimmicks associated with down comforters, and ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. I suggest Googling a third party review site, such as, supercomfysleep.com and goodhousekeeping.com. Both these sites explain fill-power, construction, and cleaning; while supercomfysleep.com covers myths and a few other misnomers associated with goose down comforters. Now onto specific complaints in the reviews. Noisy: all goose down comforters will have more rustling noise than a poly-filled comforter. My personal experience with comforters in general, is that they create some rustling, period. If you're that sensitive to noise, perhaps you should stick with cotton/polyester blend blankets, and avoid comforters all together... or invest in a good pair of ear plugs. Frankly, I find this complaint a bit overly dramatic and unnecessarily critical. This comforter has average rustling sound equal to a poly-fill, and decreases with both, over time. Not as pictured, particularly the fluff factor: The manufacturer ships this goose down comforter, vaccum packed, which removes all the air from the product and the bag. This has a decompression effect on the down and requires it to be laid out and fluffed (shaken) several times, for a minimum of 2 hours for the fluffiness to return, and over several days it will reach full fluff capacity. These instructions (see included picture 2) are clearly laid out in the paper insert included with the comforter. If you have zero experience with vacuum sealing/packaging, then you won't understand this, and incorrectly assume you've been ripped off. You haven't, you're just not following instructions. False advertisement (claiming not filled with actual goose down): First off, yes it is. Second, down and feathers are two very different things. Down does not have stiff and thick quills like feathers, nor does it have the same structure and consistency of a feather. Down is very fine, fluffy and fuzzy in consistency, as it is the insulating layer underneath the outer feathers of a goose, and it's quill/spine is very thin and small compared to a feather. If an animal; such as a dog, masticates (chews) on down it will NOT look like down anymore. Rather, it will be shredded and separated from it's fine quill spine, making it appear to be bits of opaque plastic and pieces of mushy material. And frankly using a picture of this exact situation (reviewer pictured masticated down her dog had chewed on after chewing a hole in this purchased comforter) as proof it's not filled with goose down is either very naive/ignorant, or worse, disingenuous and blatant misrepresentation. I have no doubt that this comforter is filled with quality goose down, as it's reviews and ratings speak of its quality, and the manufacturer. Not to mention the guarantee the manufacturer offers with this product. Moreover, this manufacturer and comforter is listed by supercomfysleep.com as the number one pick, in their reviews. Therefore, I'm a completely satisfied customer and highly recommend this goose down comforter and manufacturer. It is a quality comforter for the price, with exceptional fill-power, and manufacturing. But, as I stated in the beginning of this review, be a wise consumer and educate yourself before purchasing. As this will ensure you are satisfied with your purchase, and will have reasonable expectations of the product's quality and construction. And hopefully, you'll come to feel like I do about this comforter: I'll never go back to a polyester filled comforter again!

Perfection!
This feather bed is soooo comfortable! It's thick and toasty, yet light and soft on my body. It's the perfect temperature and weight, keeping me warm but not weighed down. Quality through and through.

Good Value Oversized King Duvet
These King Goose Down duvets have been my "go to" for Matouk bedding used in my hotel for years now. The oversized King is perfect size for the Matouk 108x96" covers, filling them out completely for a signature lofty look. I wish the queens were a bit longer to fit the Matouk 90x96" covers. I Don't know how many I have ordered, the price is so affordable for replacement of damages done. Quality is very good although I am concerned about the use of goose down "fiber" rather than feathers. They tend to clump more in the baffles and create bumps and points on the otherwise smooth bed covers. This is after initially fluffing in a dryer and much pouffing with the remaking of beds and multiple changes of covers on a daily basis. I am wondering if there is polyester fiberfill mixed with the feather fiber to make it clump? Sadly, with my most recent order I found that I was shorted in width of the Oversized King duvet. Instead of being 108" wide, it measured 105" with cover stretched to its max width. The length was actually longer at 99". The shorter width is a problem because it is 3 inches less than the Matouk cover. I hope EB can correct this problem and make the Oversized Kings to the advertised dimensions in the future, as I would like to continue ordering them. But if this happens again, I will seek another supplier.

Looks flat at first but fluffs up nicely.
The duvet insert is very nice and fluffy. It’s just the right amount of fill, not too hot but thick enough to look great! It was vacuumed packed so I had to put it in the dryer to fluff it up but it didn’t take long. I watched an online video to get instructions on the easiest way to put inside my duvet cover. It turned out great. I love it!

Best purchase of 2025! Read my review so you can see how I got it super fluffy!
This is by far the best investment we have made. It is so fluffy, perfect for all seasons. When we received it, I followed another reviewers instructions on how to get it as fluffy as possible. I un-rolled it, started shaking it up a little bit, and let it start to fluff on its own. In a hour, I came back and shook its from each side, continuing to fluff it more and more. I did this every hour for about 4 hours and it really fluffed up. I then put in on our bed. For days after it continued to fluff up. It’s not heavy! We purchased the 120x120 year round and it’s perfect. We live in the northern Midwest so I was looking for a year round, and extra big for our king sized bed. It fits just as I was hoping it would, big and oversized! We haven’t purchased a duvet cover yet, but I still find it soft without one. I have seen others mention it being noisy, but I don’t have that. We purchased the white color because we eventually will purchase a duvet. I do see it has loops all the way around to tie a duvet cover to it, so that will be really helpful in the future. We did NOT receive this comforter at a discount to review. This was bought on cyber Monday as a gift to myself and my husband. I highly recommend this comforter!! You won’t regret it. I also want to mention, the stock picture for this comforter is what ours looks like today!

Great comforter
With some of the reviews saying it had an oder and was noisy. I was surprised when I opened the package there was no smell and no noise. It does come in a compact package but it fluffs up nicely. It is not as thick as a true down comforter, but on the plus side there are no feathers sticking out every where. It it is warm, but not overly warm and keeps me cozy on cold nights. Overall, very happy with the product.
